I have my mum to blame for the start of Elliegantly Made when, in 2012 she handed to me a cake decorating magazine.  From that, I tried various recipes and techniques and soon realised I not only had a natural flair but also a passion for producing cakes and bakes.

I am a small independent business which has been built from the ground and has subsequently grown from strength to strength with my award winning cakes travelling the length and breadth of the country. In 2021 we incorporated EMHQ, a fully functional dedicated kitchen with usable and purpose built space adjacent to our family kitchen.

I joined Women in Business in December 20 and became a committee member a year later, helping with the social media aspect of the group.  I’d urge anyone thinking of joining WIB to give it a try, we not only have wonderful social events but also extremely useful and informative training events. The members are so supportive, friendly and interactive it’s a pleasure to be part of this group.
