I’m the co-owner and director of Pool Heat Ltd, which supplies and maintains swimming pool environmental control systems throughout the UK. This is our 15th year in business. We work with commercial and private pool owners, local authorities and swimming pool installers. I manage the day-to-day running of the business, liaising with customers, suppliers and pool contractors. I have an honours degree in architecture and have worked in the building construction industry for over 30 years. My experience includes private practice, council, freelance, not-for-profit, private developer and self-build. Currently I am renovating a chapel! Clearly, I love a challenge, business, bricks and people.
This is my third year as Chair, having joined 10 years ago. I have met so many kind and inspiring people over the years through WIB and I feel incredibly lucky to be in business in Hull and part of such a friendly, genuine and supportive network.
