Women in Business provides interesting, informative and entertaining events to allow our members to get the most out of their membership – and themselves.
With a varied programme, both business and social, we offer members the opportunity to share ideas and experiences and make business contacts. We also offer training events tailored to our members needs.
Women in Business was established in 1996. A group of local businesswomen identified the need for an organisation where they could meet informally to exchange ideas, network and create business opportunities. Over the years the membership has grown and continues to do so.
We are delighted to run a celebration of local women in business – the Women of Achievement Awards – every other year.
