Hi, I am the Business Development Manager at Smailes Goldie and I have been in this role since March 2022.
Smailes Goldie is a leading, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors with offices in Hull, Scarborough, Selby, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, and Barton-upon-Humber.
Our clients include all forms of business, from sole traders to large corporates and we work in all sectors of the economy. however, we do specialize in agriculture and landed estates, healthcare and legal, charities and education.
The firm provides a full range of services including compliance, accounts, bookkeeping, management accounting, payroll, business and personal tax planning, corporate finance, and strategy advice.
In my role as BDM, I am responsible for all aspects of marketing, PR, client engagement, events and acting as the Brand Ambassador for the firm. I really enjoy the variety of work which the role brings, including, interacting with people, networking, meeting clients, and the employee engagement which I am involved with.
