Meet the committee

Women in Business is managed by an executive committee of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and currently 10 other members. Women In Business is governed by way of the Women In Business constitution to which the committee has regard.

The committee is there to make the organisation work and take responsibility for all aspects of the organisation. The committee meets monthly and the organisation holds its Annual General Meeting every November / December. At the AGM members are invited to stand for election to the committee and it is also the time where current committee members can stand down from their current position.

I've been running my own HR Consultancy, Hamilton HR Solutions, since 2014, working with a range of clients across multiple sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, telecoms, retail and distribution. I work with SMEs to implement best practice and effective HR processes to enable a great employee experience.  I also work with global businesses on specific projects, such as restructuring, talent management and many more. I joined the Women In Business committee in December and thoroughly enjoy working with some great ladies to arrange some excellent events for our members. I live with my husband, little boy and dog, Lewis, and when I am not working, I love spending some quality family time with them.  I started my own business to work around my family and get some work life balance and it’s the best thing I have ever done!

Being a Director of InfoLore Ltd, I’m known locally as GDPR’s Nanny McPfee “ When you need me but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go”. I work with SMEs providing them with GDPR documentation, training and consultancy. I joined the Committee in February 2020 and I really enjoy discussing the topics and planning fabulous events for the Women In Business members. I’ve made some great friends and look forward to every monthly committee meetings .
